HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE LEAD IN WOOD DALE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Lead to join our client in Wood Dale, IL! This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse experience who have leadership skills and enjoy guiding teams while maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $18 to $20/hour, paid weekly
- Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Wood Dale, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, verify order accuracy, and ensure proper storage of products.
- Oversee receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to meet operational deadlines.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a compliant, secure warehouse environment.
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations and collaborate with other departments.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling devices.
- Conduct quality checks on bills, received items, and inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with process improvements to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively manage and coordinate team activities.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make decisive and effective decisions to resolve operational challenges.
- Physically capable of performing warehouse tasks as needed.
