Founded in 1978 by Anthony Migliore, Accurate Personnel is a family-owned and operated business that has grown from a single Chicago-based office to a nationwide firm that placed more than 20,000 candidates in 2021 alone. A veteran of the staffing industry who believed that relationships based on honesty and a can-do attitude were keys to success in the industry, Migliore created Accurate Personnel with his wife, Deborah, to do just that. Today, with their children Rob Migliore, Dave Migliore and Jaimie Rios at the helm, the company’s success continues to be driven by its commitment to working in partnership with clients, employees and associates.
In 2021, Accurate brought in revenue of $262.1 million, which represented a 19.8% compound annual growth rate since 2017 and landed it at No. 103 on SIA’s Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list. Serving mostly companies in light industry and logistics, Accurate has grown alongside its clients, opening branches where clients needed them most. Today, it operates 20 branches across the US. Rios, who currently serves as chief branding officer, points to a continued emphasis on relationships as being critical to both their success and stability. “Clients appreciate our candor, honesty and willingness to work creatively with them to meet their business needs,” she says.
Believing that the backbone of Accurate is its employees and associates, the company invests heavily in employee engagement. “We are constantly working to make sure employees have opportunities to develop their skills and see avenues for growth, both within the company and in the larger staffing industry,” Rios says. Employees and associates can take classes through Accurate University — on everything from interview skills to new software applications — and build connections with each other at the company’s frequent social events. Rios explains, “We want our employees to feel like they are a part of something bigger, so we prioritize relationship-building across the company even as we grow.”
Rios also highlights the quality of Accurate’s management teams. “We have the best in the industry,” she said, describing seasoned professionals with deep experience in the industry. Whether it is creating competitive benefits programs or helping clients get through the Covid-19 pandemic, streamlining payroll processes or sharing marketing campaign inspiration with client companies, she reports that Accurate’s leaders “always go the extra mile” to prioritize partnership and demonstrate on a daily basis the company’s commitment to creating innovative solutions that meet their clients’ unique needs.
Looking forward, the company will continue to grow in order to meet client demands, beginning with the opening of a southern corporate headquarters in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Rios explains, “We expect a lot of growth in the southern region of the country and want to be in a good position to support both our clients who have staffing needs in the area and associates who will be doing the work there.” Further, with this expansion, Accurate will be able to reach new clients and employees to provide them with the insightful and dependable support for which this powerhouse of a family-owned company has become known.
