HIRING IMMEDIATELY: REFRIDGERATION TECHNICIAN IN LAKELAND, FL
Accurate Personnel is seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Technician for our overnight shift (9PM - 6AM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in refrigeration systems, particularly ammonia refrigeration. This role involves working both in the field and in a shop environment, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration units. Pay, Schedule, Location:
- Ranging from $28 - $35/hour, paid weekly

- 3rd shift: 9 pm - 6 am
- Located in Lakeland, FL
Primary Responsibility:
- Maintain and repair facility refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems
- Monitor ammonia deliveries and respond to alarms
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Maintain daily maintenance records and complete work orders
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- RETA classes or certification preferred
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with anhydrous ammonia systems, HVAC equipment, and mechanical/electrical repair
- Must pass refrigeration test with 75%+ score
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and in sub-zero environments
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PSM, RMP, and warehouse practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Forklift operation training may be required
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, and HAZCOM procedures
