Safety / Loss Prevention Supervisor - (WD)

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Safety / Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our client in Stockton, CA. This individual will be responsible for conducting daily safety inspections, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions, as well as performing job site analysis, determining employee exposure, and instituting safe work procedures. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $64,480/yearly, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • 1st shift, Monday through Friday schedule

  • Located in Stockton, CA

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct training on OSHA regulations and company policies

  • Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures

  • Conduct daily safety inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions

  • Maintain all site-required documentation related to safety issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs

  • Conduct accident investigations and facilitate the return to work program along with the staffing agencies

  • Manage daily activities regarding injury management and workers' compensation issues

  • Conducts safety training and meetings to educate employees on recognizing and controlling workplace hazards

  • Interpret existing and/or write new procedures; address concerns; and act as liaison to outside organizations

  • Serve as a safety resource for all departments and department safety committees

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 standards and First Aid

  • Familiar with warehouse management systems

  • Familiar with Hazard Communication Standards

  • Employee has frequent contact with employees, representatives of outside agencies, and organizations

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Strong computer skills required; i.e., All Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
