Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Bilingual Window Clerk to join our client Baytown, TX 77523. This individual will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for truck drivers and external vendors coming to the warehouse for receiving or shipping cargo. The ideal candidate will have prior previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role, preferably within a logistics, warehousing, or transportation environment. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $18/hour, paid weekly
- 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Baytown, TX 77523
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in/check-out truck drivers at a service window. Provide paperwork and instructions for loading or unloading
- Accurately process and manage bills of lading (BOLs), delivery receipts, inventory sheets, and other required shipping/receiving documentation
- Input data into the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other logistics software for real-time tracking of freight movement
- Serve as the central communication link between drivers, the warehouse floor operations team (forklift operators, checkers), and customer service/management
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating dock appointments for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Address and resolve issues with paperwork discrepancies, appointment conflicts, or minor driver-related concerns
- Organize, file, and maintain all shipping/receiving records, and possibly manage office supplies for the area
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role, preferably within a logistics, warehousing, or transportation environment
- Critical for ensuring accuracy in all shipping documentation and inventory tracking.
- Strong verbal and written communication for clear interaction with drivers, warehouse staff, and managers
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and, most importantly, familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar logistics software
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple drivers/shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
