Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Break Press Operator to join our client in Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press equipment to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
- 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Location in Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare brake press machines for production runs based on job orders and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine the correct bends and angles required
- Operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal as needed
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Inspect finished pieces to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to achieve desired results
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine machine maintenance
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environments
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to optimize production processes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages
- Have experience in brake press operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
