HIRING IMMEDIATELY: COMPOUNDER IN WAUCONDA, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Compounder to join our client in Wauconda, IL. This individual will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients for liquid and dry filling production. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the food industry including reading and following batch sheets, along with outstanding attention to detail, good documentation skills and the ability to learn quickly in a heavily regulated, food safe environment. Compounder Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $18 to $21/hour, paid weekly
  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, plus Friday overtime
  • Located in Wauconda, IL

Compounder Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow production schedule, review orders, report priority sequence and report deviation
  • According to the formula, pick, weigh, and stage the required raw materials from the warehouse and follow work order manufacturing instructions
  • According to the bill of materials, fill and pack orders, assuring accurate weight and preparing the specified packaging labels
  • Completely and accurately fill out the production documents with initials
  • Collect the required samples according to the work order instructions
  • Conduct inventory counting when instructed and report any deviation from procedures
  • Follow GMP, safety guidelines and procedures at all times
  • Actively participates in cleaning and sanitation protocols, by preparing the plant using daily, weekly, monthly, cleaning procedures

Compounder Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two to Three years related experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar industry
  • Forklift certification - Safety-Respirator Protection-Lock- out Training-GMP
  • Must be able to understand, compose, and revise SOP’s, SSOP’s, and job specific work instructions
  • Ability to manage time and maintain a high level of physical activity
  • Frequently stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Frequently lift up to 25 – 50 pounds
  • Ability to understand compounding, mixing, and filtration
  • Completes required batch documentation records
  • Assist in the handling, dispensing and sampling of hazardous raw materials
