This individual will be responsible for serving as a point of contact for moderately complex customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding products, services and order status. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $25/hour, paid weekly
- 1st shift Monday - Friday
- Located in Arlington Heights, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for moderately complex customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding products, services and order status
- Respond to customer needs in a quick and effective manner performing account management functions
- Proactively manage customer issues and resolve concerns with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
- Uses the customer relationship management system to maintain data and follow up on customer inquiries and requests
- Track customer interactions and manage accounts
- Actively track order statuses, monitors for delays and provide timely updates to customers and the sales team
- Coordinates activities with other internal departments to ensure alignment between customer requirements and offerings, including import/export shipments
- Understands requirements of various regulations and contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar experience
- Experience using CRM systems and other customer service tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
- Customer-centric attitude with a problem-solving mindset
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
