This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations of the distribution center in a manner consistent with the financial and operational goals set for the site and to oversee the proper administration of the operational plans designed and implemented for this site. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $70,000 to $80,000/yearly, paid weekly

Located in Minooka, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
Manages the financial reporting of the warehouse
Design, create, and implement production planning for the entire warehouse
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems
Studies record and recommend remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock
Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and to determine the adequacy of stock levels
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories
Traces the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training
An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures
