Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $16 to $18/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule: 8 am to 4:30 pm
Located in East Hartford, CT
Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly of electronic, mechanical and sheet metal components and materials.
Detailed assembly of parts is the main scope of this job.
The position also involves soldering where experience is required.
The person will also need to have excellent manual dexterity to handle small components
Excellent computer experience is required.
A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and accurately are also necessary.
The Electromechanical Assembler reports to the Production Manager and must be able to follow directions carefully.
The ideal candidate should also be able to learn quickly, work conscientiously and have an excellent attendance record.
Requirements and Qualifications
Associate degree in Electronics or comparable work experience.
2+ years Electronics Assembly experience
Ability to read blueprints, wiring and mechanical diagrams.
Ability to use torque wrenches, multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Ability to lift 30 pounds to a height of 4 feet and carry a distance of 20 feet.
Electronic soldering experience
Extensive system level experience with Windows bases systems
Good English oral and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Willing to work with mild chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone and similar)
Willingness to perform tasks outside of main job scope.
