Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for General Laborers to join our client in Chicago, IL! This role is perfect for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking for flexible scheduling opportunities. The position involves event setup and teardown, moving equipment, and preparing venues for various functions.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday, flexible hours (morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts)
- Location: Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport event materials such as tables, chairs, stages, tents, lighting, and other equipment.
- Set up and tear down event structures according to layouts and supervisor instructions.
- Assist with deliveries, storage, and organization of inventory.
- Handle equipment safely and ensure all items are returned in good condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete event setups efficiently and on schedule.
- Remain flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and changing schedules.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event setup or general labor preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability required.
- Must have dependable transportation and schedule flexibility.
