This individual will be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, including payroll, attendance, benefits, and policy-related questions. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11am - 5pm, Tuesday & Thursday 12pm - 6pm
- Location in Mokena, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, including payroll, attendance, benefits, and policy-related questions
- Support recruitment activities such as posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and working with staffing agencies
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Assist in employee relations and investigations while maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain personnel files, HR databases, and compliance documentation
- Track attendance, PTO requests, and corrective actions
- Coordinate communication between the company, employees, and staffing agencies
- Support HR projects, audits, and employee engagement initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (required)
- 1+ years of HR or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems preferred
