Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator to join our client in Woodridge, IL. This individual will be responsible for operating equipment and maintaining the machine workload. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $19/hour, paid weekly
- 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Location in Woodridge, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in the most safe, efficient, and consistent manner
- Maintain machine workflow to meet project deadlines
- Read job tickets and initiate machine set-ups per job ticket specifications
- Count, pack, and label sleeves, cartons, and skids
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines as needed
- Ensure 6S practices are being followed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and machine maintenance
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periods
- Perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Close clear vision at 20 inches or less
- Able to see far clear vision at 20 feet or more
- Ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down and/or left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point and adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus
- Song hand eye coordination
