Maintenance Technical Specialist - (HAZ)

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technical Specialist to join our client in Pittston, PA. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all equipment within the facility with a focus on mechanical and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate will possess technical electrical/mechanical training, as well as 2 to 4 years of previous maintenance experience. Apply online and kick start your career today!

Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $19 to $21/hour, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm

  • Located in Pittston, PA

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product for processing, as well as sort all inbound keg loads

  • Assist production and warehouse team in inventory counts; shipping and receiving

  • Utilize the 5S model of lean manufacturing practices: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain

  • Develop competencies in a variety of production and warehouse-related jobs

  • Work as part of a team to maximize productivity and efficiency

  • Troubleshoot to detect and repair any electrical or mechanical faults on machinery or instrumentation

  • Effectively delegate tasks and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks within budget

  • Exhibit sound decision-making skills and judgment; provide solutions to complex issues

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Technical college degree in electrical/mechanical preferred

  • Ability to read and understand drawings for electrical and mechanical machines and machinery components

  • 2-4 years of previous maintenance experience working with electrical and mechanical

  • Experience with metal fabrication, welding, and lean manufacturing

  • Knowledge and practical application experience in electrical/electronics, PLCs, control logic, electrical schematics and troubleshooting

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of industrial mechanic principles including: hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, controls, industrial wiring

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical math and calculations including geometry and physics (gears, pumps, leverage, etc.)

  • Proficiency in operating shop equipment, hand tools, high lift, forklifts, and other equipment necessary to perform maintenance assignments
