Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $18/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 1st shift: 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Located in Glendale Heights, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on spice processing equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions
- Support production operations as needed
- Maintain clean and safe working conditions
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Document maintenance activities and equipment status
Requirements and Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude - ability to work with tools, understand basic machinery, and perform equipment repairs
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with hand tools and basic maintenance equipment preferred
- Basic English proficiency - ability to read safety instructions, work orders, and communicate with supervisors
- Verbal communication skills sufficient for workplace safety and coordination
- Ability to lift 55+ pounds regularly
- Active, energetic individual who can work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working in environments with strong spice aromas and odors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
