Pay, Schedule, and Location

- Located in Chino, CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring all tasks are completed on time in the department and to the required standards of quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage staff work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and alignment with operational needs.
- Review the daily work goals and determine staffing and productivity requirements.
- Partner with other leaders and management to ensure optimal labor allocation and appropriate staffing levels.
- Conduct the daily pre-shift meetings covering previous shifts productivity, operational problems, forecasting workload and any other company information.
- Supervise the team, communicate clear expectations and provide constructive feedback to improve performance and ensure operational goals are met.
- Provide direction, training, recognition, and coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Partner with management to communicate or request support from staffing agencies regarding staffing, coaching, employee performance, and other related matters as needed.
- Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records for the department.
- Ensures that equipment and resources are utilized in the most efficient manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and implementing action plans and strategies to optimize the processes.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company and customer policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the warehouse, ensuring that all associates adhere to safety guidelines, protocols and practices.
- Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
- Ensure the safe work environment, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2- 3 years of warehouse operations or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
- 2-3 years Supervisory experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) and Google Docs Editors (Google sheets, Google Docs etc.)
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS); Familiarity with Extensiv platform is a plus.
- Able to operate warehouse equipment: turret, cherry picker, sit down.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent leadership abilities, along with solid time management and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage employees and work with Human Resources to enforce company policy and employment laws.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to handle changing priorities, work independently and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Availability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment, with a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
