Job Title: Part-Time Package Loader & Unloader
Location: Houston, TX 77040
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Schedule:
- Hours: Part-time, 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Schedules vary Monday-Saturday
- Work Week: 20-30 hours per week.
- Breaks: A 30-minute lunch break is provided at 6:30 AM.
Job Summary:
We're seeking physically capable and reliable individuals to serve as Package Loaders & Unloaders at our Houston warehouse. You'll work directly inside trailers, unloading incoming packages or loading outgoing ones. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of our operations. The ideal candidate can work quickly and safely, even in varying temperatures.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload packages from 2-3 trailers per day.
- Work inside trailers to move packages efficiently.
- Adhere to heat safety protocols: When temperatures inside the trailer exceed 88°F, you'll work in 30-minute intervals, taking a 15-minute break after each interval.
- Coordinate with the sorting team to ensure a smooth transition of packages from the trailers to the conveyor belt.
- Follow all safety and dress code policies, including restrictions on jewelry, cell phones, and baggy clothing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy packages.
- Capable of working in enclosed spaces and various temperatures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift
