Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Press Brake Operator to join our client in West Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $23 to $27/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
2nd shift schedule, 4:30 pm to 1 am
Located in West Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective AMADA brand equipment
Performs machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC)
Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision
Ensure the work area is kept clean and free from hazards
Requirements and Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Cad or drafting experience a plus
Must have Press Brake Experience (1-2 years minimum experience) (Amada experience preferred)
Experience with Amada HDS, HG Press Brakes or Cincinnati Press Brakes a plus
Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated
