HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PROCESS TECHNICIAN INJECTION MOLDING IN WINTER HAVEN, FL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Process Technician Injection Molding to join our client in Winter Haven, FL. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and solving molding issues related to material, tooling and equipment, processes and employees. The ideal candidate will set and adjust machine controls according to established process standards (as well as assist in developing and documenting new/revised procedures) and troubleshoot process problems during production runs. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging from $23 - $26/hour, paid weekly
- 2nd shift: 4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday
- Located in Winter Haven, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull and set molds in preparation for production runs
- Perform mold preventive maintenance
- Set new equipment, tools, molds for production testing/qualification and establish optimum process for final article
- Startup and ongoing monitoring of processes to include troubleshooting
- Monitor the execution of the production schedule
- Perform mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule
- Part inspections and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality
- Verifying paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at start up of jobs and in process inspections
- Monitoring and preparing support equipment i.e. dryers, water towers, grinders, etc. as needed in the production area
- Provide process feedback on new tool designs and tool modifications
- Possess good communication skills to operators and supervisors
- Thoroughly inspect and evaluate product to determine process improvements
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be forklift certified
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; use of PPE’s when appropriate as per OSHA requirements
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Prolonged periods standing and walking, standing, 6+ hours per normal work day.
- Sitting, less than 2 hours per normal work day
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines
- Must have the ability to climb ladders safely
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Usually work indoors, but may on occasion work outdoors in extreme weather repairing foundations and exteriors
- Often wear protective attire, such as work gloves, eyewear, back support, and sturdy boots
