Pay, Schedule, Location
- $24.79/hour, paid weekly
- 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am (weekend availability)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the operation of high-speed automated machinery and equipment
- Perform inspections to ensure cans meet customer specifications, making necessary adjustments to equipment to correct any variances
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions
- Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance, including replacing defective parts, installing functional components, lubricating, and cleaning parts
- Stop, adjust, and clear machine jams to minimize downtime, removing damaged or jammed cans as necessary
- Replenish inks, oils, chemicals, fluids, and other supplies as required by specific machines or equipment
- May operate manual machine shop equipment and perform work with close tolerances
- May perform a variety of general electronic and electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work, including constructing, overhauling, calibrating, and servicing various types of equipment
- Responsible for the mechanical performance and standard production output of the assigned line
- Complete all required paperwork for the assigned area or machine, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, logbook entries, and maintenance checklists
- Initiate purchase orders for replacement parts and necessary machines
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the team or management
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment is required
- Demonstrated experience and high proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions
- Experience in operating production machines
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related work experience, technical training/school, or technical degrees may be substituted for required work experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals).
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Effective communication skills for speaking to team members
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Familiarity with statistical inference is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills to deal with practical issues and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment using collaborative methods
- Must be committed to ongoing personal training and development
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently climb, balance, talk, or hear and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- This role is in a 24/7/365 manufacturing plant environment, operating high-speed automated machinery for the beverage industry
- Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime to cover absences or provide additional support
- Will work near moving mechanical parts in an environment with a loud noise level
- The plant environment may be hot in warm weather and cold in cool weather
- Must be willing to work in all areas of production and be assigned to different plant areas throughout your career
- Constant pressure exists to produce high-quality cans and keep the production line operating efficiently
