Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Aurora, IL. This individual will be responsible for instructing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Assurance procedures throughout the quality system. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging from $20.50/hour, paid weekly
- 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Located in Aurora, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, BOM and other specifications
- Performs first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection and maintains all related documentation as per ISO/IATF
- Helps train new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
- Perform data entry and information retrieval using Microsoft Office and other software
- Support other Quality Department functions as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years’ experience in the quality field/ manufacturing
- Experience with metal fabrication
- Ability to effectively read and interpret engineering drawings
- Accurate use of metrology instruments
- Perform tasks with limited or no supervision
- Maintains accuracy and attention to detail always and completes tasks in a timely manner
- Knowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processes
- Dependability, readiness to take on responsibility, commitment, willingness to learn, goal- and results-oriented, ability to communicate, ability to work in a team
