This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all food production processes and products adhere to strict quality and safety standards. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly
- 6:00 am - 3:45 pm
- Located in Pittston, PA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct and document regular quality checks, inspections, and audits throughout the manufacturing process
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs)
- Prioritize QA tasks effectively to support and facilitate the continuous production process.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products or processes and assist in root cause analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential and the ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of dedicated experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) role within the industrial manufacturing sector (preferably food production)
- Proven record of adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Exceptional detail-orientation and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Above-average computer skills, including proficiency with data entry, word processing, and quality tracking software
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed based on production demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, crawl, climb ladders, and bend greater than 90% of the time
- Regularly required to work around operating equipment and in confined spaces
