Pay, Available Schedules, Location
- Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly

- 1 shift: 5:30 am - 3 pm
- 2nd shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule all appointments for delivery giving the carrier a confirmation number
- Check in and out drivers as they arrive and record the arrival time and use the departure scheduling system
- Verify confirmation number and purchase order number
- Obtain driver's signature on the driver’s log and paperwork
- Prepare all of the shipping and receiving documents
- Complete data entry functions in order to properly ship and receive products
- Obtain approval from the supervisor for all late, early, unexpected arrivals prior to accepting the load
- Assign the driver a door or have the driver back into the designated parking area to await door assignment
- Instruct the driver to monitor channel 1 on the radio or wait for notification when a door is available
- Compare the driver’s bill of lading to the expected purchase order, make appropriate changes, ensure all bio terrorism paperwork is completed and place paperwork in the appropriate box to be picked up by the receivers
- Verify counts and check for all required signatures, once paperwork is returned from the receiver
- Total the number of cases and pallets for each item as recorded on the receiving document
- Verify the totals against the bill of lading and receiving tallies and record any discrepancies on the driver’s paperwork when signing the driver out
- Collect payment for unloading trailers, write receipts, and verify the checks
- Ensure that the check and the receipt are filled out completely
- Ensure all information is updated in the fisher system
- Prepare all tallies for the next day
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized work area at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work varied schedule including weekend and early morning shifts
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work with difficult individuals or task assignments
- Basic knowledge WMS systems and AS400 platform based software
- Minimum data entry skills of 1400 keystrokes per minute
- Able to work in spaces with 72 inches of headroom
- May be required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of 36 degrees Fahrenheit and inside ambient temperatures (including heat and cold)
- Requires tolerance of standing posture up to 2 hours, over an 8-hour shift
- Occasionally work overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work or to attend meetings
