HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SHIPPING CLERK IN BENSENVILLE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Shipping Clerk to join our client in Bensenville, IL! This role is perfect for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy handling both incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining organized and accurate records.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $21/hour, paid weekly
- Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Bensenville, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Unpack and properly store received items in designated locations.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, verify packing slips, and coordinate with carriers.
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory records using scanners and inventory management systems.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling devices safely.
- Perform quality control checks on shipments and resolve discrepancies.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and following warehouse protocols.
