This individual will be responsible for operating diecasting machinery, pouring molten metal, and molding metal parts in a manufacturing environment. Pay, Schedule, Location, and Perks:
Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday with two shifts available: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm and 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
Competitive starting wage of $16/hour.
No specific licenses required – your experience and skills speak for themselves!
Located in Algonquin, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate primary or secondary operation presses and secondary operation equipment using established cycle times.
Inspect the quality of the product produced for conformance to specifications per the Production Master Sheet, the In-Process Inspection Sheet, or special instructions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer, calipers, and dial indicator gages.
Load coils of raw material and remove scrap material from press area etc.
Identify coils of nonconforming material and/or finished products and segregate as necessary.
Perform and document required preventive maintenance on assigned press.
Complete required paperwork as instructed by the pressroom supervision.
Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of related work experience, preferably on press or stamp machines.
Ability to read computer screens, equipment displays, part prints, precision measuring instruments, and written documentation.
Strong visual perception and hearing ability to monitor equipment sounds for changes and take appropriate action.
