HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE PICKER IN ROMEOVILLE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Picker to join our client in Romeoville, IL! The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation. Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
- Schedule: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
- Location: Romeoville, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Accurately pick, pack, and audit orders; handle tote induction and staging of products.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily paperwork including picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
- Provide basic technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Operate various equipment such as stand-up reach, sit-down, and cherry picker forklifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Skilled in forklift operation (stand-up reach, sit-down, and cherry picker).
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Basic understanding of warehouse paperwork and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) a plus.
