HIRING IMMEDIATELY: 2D LASER SETUP OPERATOR IN AURORA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a 2D Laser Setup Operator to join our client in Aurora, IL. This individual will be responsible for the operation of the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $23/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule: 10 am to 6 pm
Located in Aurora, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators
Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs, and set machine parameters
Unload machine sort, count, organize and package cut parts
Performs machine setups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required
Skilled in organizing work areas before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Inspect all manufactured parts following work-in-process inspection methods and ensure to accomplish engineering specifications.
Safely remove a jam from equipment without risk of injury or damage to the equipment • Report all machine malfunctions to Management.
May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
At least 2 years experience in 2D laser cutting operation
Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
Solid background working with sheet metal
Ability to use a computer to operate specialty programs
Knowledge of how to program and run machines to cut specific part
Ability to read blueprints and work orders
