HIRING IMMEDIATELY: DOCK WORKER / GENERAL WAREHOUSE IN BENSENVILLE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Dock Worker / General Warehouse to join our client in Bensenville, IL! This role is perfect for candidates with experience in material handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $19/hour, paid weekly
- Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Bensenville, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload cargo and freight from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners.
- Assist with inventory control, ensuring all items are properly labeled, stored, and documented.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including staging and dock areas.
- Accurately input shipping information into computer systems and log any damages.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure and accident-free environment.
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed to support operational efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workloads and processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and handheld scanning devices is preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
