HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MACHINE OPERATOR IN LAKE ZURICH, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator to join our team in Lake Zurich, IL. This individual will be responsible for handling of raw material to load/unload, and start new coils. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with ERP control panel modules. Pay, Available Schedules, Location
  • Starting at $17 - $20/hour DOE, paid weekly
  • 2nd shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday
  • 3rd shift: 10 pm - 6:30 am, Sunday - Thursday
  • Location in Lake Zurich, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Remove and reset dies
  • Clear jams and troubleshoot
  • Handling of raw material to load/unload, start new coils
  • Process a first piece layout
  • Keeping presses running throughout day in a safe manner to both the die and operator
  • Communicate with the supervisor to aid in production and quality
  • Ensure quality conformance on all products run by filling out operator inspection sheets
  • Read and understand blueprints and operator instructions
  • Use of inspection tools to check parts throughout the day
  • Needs to complete daily logs and report production in the ERP system
  • Functionality of press (Jog, run, stop)
  • Maintain the department/work area clean and organized
  • Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of ERP control panel module
  • Punch press knowledge including basic press safety, and functionality
  • Basic knowledge of measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints
  • Comprehend the understanding simple, oral and written instructions in the English command
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to apply problem solving skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
