NOW HIRING QUALITY ENGINEER IN LA FOX, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Engineer to join our client in La Fox, IL. This position will be responsible for supporting the business with compliance to internal, customer and regulatory requirements through management of day-to-day quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years of ISO 9000 and 13485 experience with basic knowledge of statistics and able to use basic measuring equipment. Quality Engineer Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $80,000 to $90,000/yearly, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Located in La Fox, IL

Quality Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Has responsibility to lead, coordinate, develop and implement any quality assurance or improvement activity for the work location

  • Leads the internal audit process by conducting training of internal auditors, performing internal audits as required and ensuring follow through of action items identified during audits

  • Initiates and monitors corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement projects

  • Works with customers to improve product quality and resolve customer complaints

  • Manages the MRB process ensuring nonconforming product is reviewed, dispositioned and actions required to close are conducted

  • Communicate with management team regarding quality concerns and improvements necessary to maintain the QMS

  • Reviews and approves changes to documentation

  • Creates inspection plans and monitors the effectiveness of plans

  • Supports New Product Development activities to ensure QMS requirements are meet

  • Assists with External Audits (i.e. ISO, UL, FDA)

  • Trains other employees on quality concepts

  • Audits outgoing shipments

  • Performs data analysis

  • Other related duties as assigned

Quality Engineer Qualifications and Requirements

  • ASQ certification or an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) in a related field

  • 3-5+ years of ISO 9000 and 13485 experience

  • Basic knowledge of statistics and able to use basic measuring equipment

  • Should possess good computer skills

  • Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel are required

  • ISO 13485 with Medical Device experience preferred

  • Working Environment: Office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments
