HIRING IMMEDIATELY: STATIONARY ENGINEER IN CHICAGO, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring for a Stationary Engineer to join our client in Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for monitoring high - output boilers to oversee the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high capacity steam boilers used in industrial laundry facilities. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $50/hourly, paid weekly
- 5am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (with occasional weekends)
- Location in Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high steam boilers
- Conduct routine inspections preventive maintenance and minor repairs
- Test and treat boiler water to prevent scaling
- Adhere to OSHA/EPA and local boiler regulations maintaining logs and record
- Monitor fuel consumption and breakdowns adjust controls
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of stationary engineer experience
- Technical experience preferred
- HVAC license
- Experience reading blue print schematics
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts weekend
