HIRING IMMEDIATELY: STATIONARY ENGINEER IN CHICAGO, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring for a Stationary Engineer to join our client in Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for monitoring high - output boilers to oversee the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high capacity steam boilers used in industrial laundry facilities. Pay, Schedule, Location
  • Starting at $50/hourly, paid weekly
  • 5am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (with occasional weekends)
  • Location in Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor high steam boilers
  • Conduct routine inspections preventive maintenance and minor repairs
  • Test and treat boiler water to prevent scaling
  • Adhere to OSHA/EPA and local boiler regulations maintaining logs and record
  • Monitor fuel consumption and breakdowns adjust controls
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of stationary engineer experience
  • Technical experience preferred
  • HVAC license
  • Experience reading blue print schematics
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts weekend
