Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Assembly Technician to join our client in McHenry, IL. This individual will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the function on machinery. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $22 - $28/hour, paid weekly
- 7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday
- Location in McHenry, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble all mechanical aspects of machines per assembly drawings and or verbal instructions
- Install machine pneumatics as specified in machine schematics
- Follow assembly work instructions and maintain machine checklists
- Inspect and test machines to ensure product quality and customer requirements and specifications
- Prepare machines for shipping, including packing
- Some electrical work required such as machine writing and testing
- Submit accurate computer documentation of work completed on machinery
- Perform all other related duties and responsibilities assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license
- Basic computer knowledge (MS office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 3 or more years of experience in building and troubleshooting packaging equipment in a low volume high variety industry
- 3 or more years of experience with power and hand tools and pneumatic tools
- 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing or general labor industry
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and bills of materials
- Follow and understand written and verbal instructions
- Manage multiple projects with flexibility of adapting to changing priorities
- Customer service experience preferred
