HIRING IMMEDIATELY: CNC MACHINIST
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay Rate Range: $27.00 - $32.00/hour
Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs OR 6:00am to 2:30pm Mon to Fri
Overview
Our client is looking to hire a CNC Machinist Operator for their growing operations in Carol Stream, IL. They are looking for someone who can produce high-quality parts on an Okuma CNC while meeting daily productivity goals. Act as a collaborative and engaged team member to support manufacturing success.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production drawings.
- Operate and learn CNC lathes with live tooling (Okuma experience preferred).
- Set up machines, obtain first-piece approval, and maintain production.
- Support assembly components availability and related manufacturing tasks.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and measuring tool calibration.
- Receive and handle incoming materials.
- Lift or push up to 50 lbs. as required.
- Comply with BMS (AS9100 Quality Management System).
Job Requirements
- Experience in CNC machining, general machining, welding, painting, polishing, or assembly
- Machining certification is a plus, preferably with Okuma Lathe CNC Machines.
- Ability to Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs OR 6:00am to 2:30pm Mon to Fri.
