HIRING IMMEDIATELY: INSPECTOR PACKER IN CAROL STREAM, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inspector Packer to join our client in Carol Stream, IL. The ideal candidate will operate bagger machines, inspect packaged products for quality, and ensure all packing processes meet specifications. Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- $19/hour, paid weekly
- 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM
- Located in Carol Stream, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Start, monitor, and adjust bagger machines to maintain production
- Inspect filled cartons to ensure packaging meets specifications
- Replenish packing supplies such as wickets, chipboard, labels, and boxes
- Report critical defects to set-up mechanics or quality auditors
- Correct minor specification variances while keeping machines running
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including supply tables
- Accurately complete production paperwork, including tally sheets and reports
- Pack cartons neatly, label them with skid and carton numbers, and follow proper procedures
- Prepare supplies and workspace for the next shift
- Follow all safety and company policies
- Maintain a positive work environment through professional communication and teamwork
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Less than high school education acceptable; on-the-job training provided
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages
- Strong attention to detail and high measuring ability
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and drive to succeed
