Job Title: Installation Machine Service Technician - Automated Systems
Hours: Monday thru Friday with occasional travel overnight (NO WEEKENDS)
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 based on experience
Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on technician with proven experience in building machines and installing automated industrial systems for our nationwide client. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on working with mechanical and electrical systems, solving problems, and traveling to different worksites to bring complex equipment to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, install, and configure automated systems (VLMs, conveyors, racking, shelving, mezzanines).
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak performance.
- Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Work independently or as part of a team, ensuring top-quality installations.
- Occasional travel to local client sites, with occasional overnight stays (home on weekends).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in machine building and automated system installation.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Someone who has the ability to work at heights
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Safety-focused, dependable, and strong communicator.
