Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher & Data Entry Coordinator
Location: Wilmington, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Start Time: 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher & Data Entry Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a key part in managing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with drivers and warehouse teams, and ensuring accurate data entry and documentation. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch inbound and outbound shipments
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Enter shipment and order information into logistics software and internal systems accurately
- Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
- Track and update load status, delays, and delivery confirmations
- Monitor inventory movements related to shipments
- Assist with resolving any issues related to delivery timing, routing, or documentation
- Maintain detailed logs of communication and shipping activity
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation coordination preferred
- Strong data entry and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a time-sensitive environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and logistics software (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
