Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a HR Manager to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts and hires top talent, as well as administering compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $90,000/yearly
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Located in Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts and hires top talent
  • Develop job descriptions, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process
  • Build a network of qualified candidates for future job openings
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns
  • Address employee complaints and conflicts and mediate resolutions
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement
  • Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Work proactively on relationship building with the union.
  • Facilitate monthly labor management meetings and resolve grievances and work issues.
  • Oversee the performance management system, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback
  • Develop and implement strategies for employee development, training, and career progression
  • Implement performance improvement plans when necessary
  • Ensure the organization complies with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and equal employment opportunity standards
  • Develop, implement, and update company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages
  • Manage payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in a union manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strategic thinking and planning.
