Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician with experience in Food Manufacturing to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. Please see below for additional information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Conduct routine food safety and quality assurance checks to meet regulatory and company standards
- Monitor and document sanitation, temperature controls, and production processes Verify compliance with HACCP, GMP, and more
- Assist in investigating and resolving quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results Communicate findings effectively to production and management teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for food safety and product quality
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in Food Manufacturing required
- FDA Inspection, SQF and Food safety planning experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations ( PCQI, FDA, HACCP, GMP, USDA )
- MS Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed
